Our Story
A door, a table, a study partner — and a life that turns toward Torah.
For over a decade, Torah Links has walked alongside Jewish college students and young professionals (men) from across the U.S. and around the world — helping them discover Torah life and a meaningful Jewish future at their own pace.
Torah Links was built on a single conviction: Jewish college students and young professionals don't need to be convinced. They need to be invited. Invited into a home. Invited into a one-on-one Torah study session. Invited into a relationship with someone living a full Torah life every day.
What began as a few students at Shabbos tables has grown into a national organization. Our flagship program — The Fellowship — brings students for a summer of immersion in Lakewood, New Jersey, one of the largest centers of Torah learning in the world. Around it sit campus learning, weekend retreats, one-on-one study partnerships, professional networking, internships, and mentorship that doesn't end when the program does.
We work with students from Columbia, Binghamton, Penn, NYU, Cornell, and dozens of other campuses across the U.S. — and increasingly from communities around the world. Some come curious. Some come searching. Some come because a friend said the food was good. What they find — over and over — is a community that takes them seriously, a Torah that engages their real questions, and Jewish families and professionals who become lifelong relationships.
We are not flashy. We are not in a hurry. We believe that Jewish life is best transmitted the way it has always been transmitted: at a table, in a study session, in a friendship.
Pew Research · Jewish Americans in 2020 (published 2021, reaffirmed 2023)
"76% of American Jews say remembering the Holocaust is essential to what being Jewish means to them."
For three out of four young Jews on campus today, the thread to Jewish identity is already there — quiet, often unspoken, but unmistakable. Torah Links exists to honor that thread, then gently turn it forward: we show students that Jewish life is not only a memory to preserve, but a thriving, joyful future to step into. A Shabbos table, a personal study partner, a community that wants them — not as a statistic, but as the next generation of a living, breathing Jewish people.
