The Lakewood Fellowship at Torah LinksFlagship Program · 14th Year

Each summer for the last fourteen years, we have run a beautiful seven-week program in Lakewood — built around real internships in business and medicine, daily Torah, mentorship, and Shabbos with a family. Watch the 2024 recap to see what a summer actually looks like.

What the summer looks like

Four things, woven into every day for seven weeks.

Real internships

Serious placements across business, finance, tech, e-commerce, and accounting — and a dedicated medical track with hands-on clinical and laboratory research. Real resume lines, real mentors, real work — at companies where being a proud Jew at work is part of the culture.

Daily Torah learning

Structured one-on-one and group learning every day inside one of the largest beis medrash spaces in America — at the student's pace, on the questions that actually matter to them.

A personal mentor

Every participant is paired with a rabbi and a professional mentor who stay in their life well beyond the seven weeks — through senior year, the first job, and the years after.

Shabbos with a family

Every Shabbos hosted by a warm Lakewood family — Friday night dinner, the table, the singing, the next morning's shul.

A week in the life

Torah in the morning. Work during the day. Shabbos at a table.

The schedule is real but breathable — built to give students a serious internship, serious learning, and the kind of relationships that only happen when you eat, learn, and daven together for seven weeks.

Mornings

Beis medrash — one-on-one learning, shiur, and a sugya to chew on.

Daytime

On-site at the internship — building skills and a serious professional network.

Evenings

Lunch & learns, mentor coffees, speakers from across the Jewish business and medical world.

Shabbos

Hosted by a Lakewood family — meals, shul, conversation, song.

Two tracks, one summer

Business or medical — both with the same Torah core.

Business Track

High-level placements in finance, e-commerce, real estate, tech, accounting, and marketing — alongside Jewish professionals who live their Yiddishkeit at work. Real responsibility, real mentors, real network for the years after graduation.

Medical / Pre-Med Track

Hands-on clinical and laboratory research with Jewish physicians and PIs, ending in a presentation to faculty and mentors — a serious medical CV line built alongside daily Torah learning.
